Well let's rewind, last year at this time we were getting ready to celebrate the anniversary of my "newest additions", my 3 adopted kids. I became their "new mom" at the beginning of March in 1998. This past year has had it's up's and down's. The worst of the year was my fall, the best was our family hunting trip.
We also sold a home and bought a new home. We remodeled for my broken leg, and found the room needed for my husband to work from home more often. I went hunting thanks to my family who helped me to get into the woods 150 yards from the nearest road so I would have a chance at filling my tags. I had 2 very cute bucks come into bow range, but they were babies, button bucks. Washington Hunting Law, bucks 3 points and more, your safe little guys, for now. The area we were in was a no doe area, so the doe that came in and stood 15 yards in front of me, wondering what kind of tree is that, just stood there and chewed her cud, fluttered her big doe ears and she was beautiful, I just stood and watched her until she decided to head off to her bedding area. Late hunt I was in a tree, my husband bought me a tree stand for Christmas and they all put it up for me and helped me in. I'm not too sure of hunting elk from a stand, I'll have to do more homework on that.
Well let's fast forward. I've had these 3 Blessings that the Good Lord put into my path, now for 10 years. Well 10 years in just a few days. Were off to our yearly family archery shoot for the weekend, this is the start of many around Washington, so good luck to us all!! So far everthing is great, no down's, plenty of up's!! I have talked to my Trinity, that's what call the Pastors in my life. I was born and raised in my families 3 religions and I have kept them the best that I have been able too. I said I would explain Tiffany Faith's name and I have on my other blog, my Trinity all agreed that this blog is not the place to put it, but my other is, so for those of you who know my other blog, you can go there, sorry.
Now it's time to close, I have family matter's to attend too:) Love to my Children.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIFFANY FAITH McDONALD
On this day 22 years ago Tiffany decided to surprise us with her early entry into this world. She was actually due on my birthday, march 17th. I had been to see the Dr. a few days before, they said I was alright to travel by car, but to get out once an hour and walk around for 5 minutes or so. We decided to go up to Priest River for for a couple of days( Feb.15&16). So James, Jamie, Christa, Unlce Tim and I(Tiffany) all went for a visit. We were told we had to call before leaving P.R. and coming up to the Calvins so that they could meet us at the end of their long drive way as there was so much snow we wouldn't be able to get our Escort up the road. Well we didn't call them, we brought a sled for James and Tim to pull the kids up the hill to the Calvins home in the woods. When we got there, T.J. said why didn't you call! Then Karen said, Sandy your all wet. She got me a nightgown and robe, and told me to take a warm bath and she would wash and dry my clothes and have lunch ready when I got out of the bath. So we ate and I was so tired, so I went and laid down for a while, the next thing I know, Karen is telling me we have to go, here are your clothes. So I got dressed and we left, I had slept from 2 till 5:30. We all got in big bird, thats what they called there big yellow 4x4 bronco, and went to Church. I sat at the back of the VFW hall on a chair while James and Tim kept an eye on James and Christa and talked a litte to a few friends during the Church service. Part way thru Church Tiffany decided she'd had enough, and hit me with a huge contraction, I sucked in air loudly and almost fell off my chair. Well now the race was on, it's now 6:30 at night and it's snowing, and I'm in labor and its the 16th. of Feb. not March, a whole month early. We got loaded up in the car and headed straight for Moscow to drop the Kids off with friends before heading to Lewiston. It was snowing hard, the contraction close, and James was having a hard time seeing, it took us so long to get back home, and then the nasty drive to Lewiston down that awful grade in the snow. It was 1 a.m. by the time we got to the hospital, then they had to find our Dr. because it was a planned c-section, so we had to have him. So Febuary 17th early morn, brought Tiffany Faith into our world. (I'll explain her name later, because it was choosen for my Faith in God that she was healhty and a few other reasons.)She had bright red hair and was 21 inches long, she weighed 8 and a half pounds and had blue eyes. And she sucked her thumb, even in the ultra sound pictures, she was sucking her thumb! I LOVE YOU TIFFANY FAITH, Love MOM.
